The York Revolution fend off the Camden Riversharks' late push, hold on 7-6

The Camden Riversharks (32-35) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the York Revolution (36-32), and the Camden Riversharks lost 7-6 to the York Revolution after falling behind by four runs in the fifth inning.

The Camden Riversharks scored three runs in the seventh on a three-run home run by Alvin Colina. Despite their efforts, the Camden Riversharks couldn't get over the hump.

Brandon Haveman put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the York Revolution. He homered in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and doubled in the fourth inning.

Raul Padron racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Camden Riversharks. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third, sixth, and seventh innings.

Omar Javier improved to 1-5 on the year by picking up the win for the York Revolution. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered three hits.

Bryan Corey ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.

The York Revolution's Haveman, Liu Rodriguez, Andres Perez and James Shanks combined for 10 hits and seven RBIs.
