A walk-off sacrifice fly from Edgardo Baez brought home the winning run for the Bridgeport Bluefish (29-37) in a 6-5 victory over the Sugar Land Skeeters in 13 innings at Harbor Yard on Wednesday.
Steve Moss hit two home runs for the Sugar Land Skeeters (27-39). Moss went 4-6 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Moss homered in the second and eighth innings.
Kyle Zaleski improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Kelvin Villa (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
The Bridgeport Bluefish were sparked by Luis Figueroa and James Simmons, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
