The Rochester (AIA (8-18) had a tough outing on Sunday, as the Wellsville (13-16) dominated in an 11-3 win at Wellsville Central.
The Wellsville scored five runs in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Kory Wan, a double by Montana Timmons, an error, a two-run single by Riley Goudling, and a single by Pete Strommen.
Timmons racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Wellsville.
Anthony Galan put together a nice outing. Galan gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his six innings of work.
Asa Johnson was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in six innings, walked three and struck out three.
