Joe Chittester brought home the winning run to give the Olean (14-8) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Olean hung on to beat the Hornell (16-7) 4-2 on Sunday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Olean's Chittester. Chittester went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Jon Kemmer racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Olean. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Mike Tolsma picked up the win for the Olean. Tolsma pitched nine innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out six.

Jordan Quinn was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Olean batters and allowing two runs.

Matt Danton couldn't get it done on the hill for the Hornell, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
