A loss looked likely for the Olean (8-5) when they trailed by six runs in the third inning, but the Olean were able to capture the lead back with a an RBI single by Jose Alicea in the seventh inning, spurring the Olean to a 20-7 win over the Rochester (AIA (3-8) at Basket Rd Field on Wednesday.

With the score tied at seven in the seventh inning, Alicea came to the plate and singled, plating Brad Rush.

Alicea reached base two times. He singled in the seventh innings.

The Olean turned the win into a rout with 10 runs in the seventh.

Jon Kemmer racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Olean. He doubled in the third inning, singled in the fifth and seventh innings, and homered in the eighth inning.

Zach Machmer struck out four, paving the way for a the Olean win. The Olean's pitcher gave up just four hits over 4 2/3 shutout innings.

Zachary Hedges ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked none and struck out three.

The Olean easily handled the Rochester (AIA pitching as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 16 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
