The Bridgeport Bluefish (26-35) beat the Somerset Patriots 10-4 on Friday thanks to a seven-run seventh inning.

Prentice Redman helped the Bridgeport Bluefish take the lead for good in the seventh inning. Norberto Susini singled to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on an RBI single by Kennard Jones. Finally, Redman came to the plate with the score tied at three, and doubled, bringing home Susini and Jones.

Redman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Luis Lopez racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Paul Oseguera handled the Somerset Patriots (29-32)'s lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Oseguera allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over five innings.

Juan Rincon recorded his first win of the year for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Derell McCall (2-4) took the loss for the Somerset Patriots. He allowed seven runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked one and struck out one.
