The York Revolution's Gonzalez comes through in the clutch, upends the Camden Riversharks, 8-7

Danny Gonzalez drove in the winning run to give the York Revolution (18-19) the lead in the seventh inning, as the York Revolution hung on to beat the Camden Riversharks (18-20) 8-7 on Tuesday.

After James Shanks tripled, Gonzalez came to the plate with two outs in the seventh and doubled, bringing home Shanks.

Gonzalez had a hot bat for the York Revolution. Gonzalez went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Scott Grimes led the York Revolution's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Brian Burgamy racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Camden Riversharks. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Stephen Penney got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Zach Hammes couldn't get it done on the bump for the Camden Riversharks, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
