John Halama kept the Sugar Land Skeeters (15-19) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Lancaster Barnstormers (20-15) beat the Sugar Land Skeeters, 5-0.

Halama allowed six hits, two walks and struck out six.

Jaime Pedroza racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Pedro Liriano ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
