A walk-off solo blast from Dominic Ramos brought home the winning run for the Sugar Land Skeeters (14-15) in a 4-3 victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers in 10 innings at Constellation Field on Sunday.
Ramos had a hot bat for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Ramos went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the tenth inning.
Jason Botts was hot from the plate for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Botts went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.
Eric Krebs pitched lights out for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Krebs held the Lancaster Barnstormers (15-15) hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Ryan Houston got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Jeff Bennett ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
