Kielty gives the York Revolution late push to beat the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, 3-2

Bobby Kielty drove in the winning run to give the York Revolution (11-17) the lead in the eighth inning, as the York Revolution hung on to beat the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (14-16) 3-2 on Sunday.

With the score tied at two in the eighth inning, Kielty came to the plate and homered.

Kielty was solid at the plate for the York Revolution. Kielty went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.

Andres Perez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the York Revolution. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Jeremy Owens racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Adam Thomas got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Eduardo Morlan (1-1) took the loss for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.

Thanks to two runs on three hits in the bottom half of the third, the York Revolution had the early lead. The York Revolution caught fire after Brandon Haveman singled. Then Perez homered, scoring Haveman.

The York Revolution never trailed after scoring one run in the eighth on a solo home run by Kielty.
