The Bridgeport Bluefish get 7 strikeouts from Oseguera in 8-4 win over the Long Island Ducks

Paul Oseguera tossed seven scoreless innings to lift the Bridgeport Bluefish (16-12) to an 8-4 win over the Long Island Ducks (17-10) at Bethpage Ballpark.

Luis Lopez got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the first and third innings.

Brandon Sing racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Long Island Ducks. He homered in the eighth inning.

Gustavo Chacin couldn't get it done on the hill for the Long Island Ducks, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as the Bridgeport Bluefish scored two runs on an RBI double by Prentice Redman and an RBI single by Lopez.

The Bridgeport Bluefish piled on three more runs in the top of the fifth. Brock Peterson kicked things off with a double, scoring Collin DeLome. That was followed up by Ramon Vazquez's single, plating Lopez and Peterson.

The Bridgeport Bluefish tacked on another two runs in the seventh. A sacrifice fly scored DeLome to get the Bridgeport Bluefish on the board in the inning. That was followed up by a groundout by Eddie Rogers that scored Lopez.
