The Camden Riversharks make the most of 9 hits in 7-4 victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers

The Camden Riversharks (13-17) and the Lancaster Barnstormers (16-15) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Camden Riversharks that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-4 win at Clipper Mag. Stadium.

Felix Pie racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Camden Riversharks. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fourth inning.

Jason Bergmann pitched lights out for the Camden Riversharks. Bergmann held the Lancaster Barnstormers hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Emerson Frostad racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He homered in the third inning and singled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Sean Jarrett recorded his second win of the year for the Camden Riversharks. He allowed four runs over six innings. Jarrett struck out three, walked one and gave up seven hits.

J.D. Durbin was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out five.

The Camden Riversharks never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on a two-run double by Brian Burgamy.

The Camden Riversharks added four more runs in the top of the fourth. Chris Walker started the inning with a single, scoring Bill Rice. That was followed up by Pie's double, scoring Shea Harris, Walker and Lloyd Turner.
