The North Shore Navigators (29-19) and the Seacoast Mavericks (20-29) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the North Shore Navigators that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 12-7 win at Fraser Field.
Tim Hendricks boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the North Shore Navigators. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first and fourth innings.
Corey Stump got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed three runs over four innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered six hits.
Junior Vasquez (4-2) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked three and struck out five.
