The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (4-5) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 8-3 to the Nashua Silver Knights (6-4) on Wednesday.

While the Marthas Vineyard Sharks led until the sixth inning, the Nashua Silver Knights worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run single by Justin Castro.

Chris Shaw got on base four times in the game for the Nashua Silver Knights. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Tom Baroni improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Nashua Silver Knights. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Dan Weigel was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
