The Weyburn Beavers (19-25) and the Regina Red Sox (34-12) exchanged the lead five times on Sunday, but the Weyburn Beavers ended up on top with an 8-6 win over the Regina Red Sox.

Derek Wallace reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Daniel Bick racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Regina Red Sox. He singled in the ninth inning.

Brad Weisgerber improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Weyburn Beavers. He allowed two runs over two innings. Weisgerber struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Landon Adelman (0-2) took the loss for the Regina Red Sox. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
