Ben Villafuerte brought home the winning run to give the Melville Millionaires (23-20) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Melville Millionaires hung on to beat the Okotoks Dawgs (24-18) 4-1 on Thursday.

With the score tied at one in the sixth inning, Villafuerte came to the plate and homered.

Bryson Thionnet did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Melville Millionaires, reaching base three times. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Michael Medina picked up the win for the Melville Millionaires. Medina allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings of work.

Will Scott couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Okotoks Dawgs, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
