The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets scored on a fielder's choice in the sixth inning and an error in the seventh inning. Still, the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets couldn't catch the Yorkton Cardinals.
The Yorkton Cardinals relied on Logan Hershenow to eat up innings en route to the win. Hershenow pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out five.
Jordan Rawlyk ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
