The Lethbridge Bulls cruise past the Edmonton Prospects, 10-3

The Lethbridge Bulls (26-18) pounded the Edmonton Prospects (6-37) on Sunday 10-3 at Spitz Stadium.

The Lethbridge Bulls scored three runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Kym Barthel and a two-run triple by Bretton Gouthro.

Gouthro had two extra-base hits for the Lethbridge Bulls.

Regan Calvert put together a nice outing. Calvert held the Edmonton Prospects hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

The Edmonton Prospects were led by Jamie Mitchell's hitting. Mitchell went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Michael Lange improved to 6-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Markus Fergusson was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
