The Edmonton Prospects need walk-off single to beat the Regina Red Sox, 5-4

A walk-off single from Matthew Miller brought home the winning run for the Edmonton Prospects (6-13) in a 5-4 victory over the Regina Red Sox (17-4) in 11 innings at Telus Field on Saturday.

Miller was solid at the plate for the Edmonton Prospects. Miller went 1-3. He singled in the seventh and eleventh innings.

The Edmonton Prospects scored three runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Cody Kielsa paced the Edmonton Prospects at the plate. Kielsa went 4-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Aubrey Dezarn recorded his first win of the year for the Edmonton Prospects. Dezarn struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Marc Lowther (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
