The Medicine Hat Mavericks (14-6) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Lethbridge Bulls (10-10) dominated in a 14-2 win at Athletic Park.

The Lethbridge Bulls scored seven runs in the second on an RBI single by Jeremie Fagnan, an RBI double by Joel Blake, an RBI single by Ridge Gonsoulin, an RBI double by Zach Rhodes, a two-run double by Jesse Sawyer, and a groundout by Dale Anderson.

Sawyer racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Lethbridge Bulls.

Brody McDonald picked up the win for the Lethbridge Bulls. McDonald pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out three.

Joel Lutz rocked the Lethbridge Bulls with two home runs. Lutz went 2-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Lutz homered in the fourth and ninth innings.

Andrew Shoemaker couldn't get it done on the bump for the Medicine Hat Mavericks, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
