The Edmonton Prospects (2-9) didn't stand a chance on Tuesday, as the Yorkton Cardinals (5-7) captured a blowout 7-1 win in seven innings at Jubilee Park.
The Yorkton Cardinals scored three runs in the fourth on a two-run error, a two-run error, and a sacrifice fly by Tyler Arthur.
Max Chadsey struck out six hitters en route to the the Yorkton Cardinals win. Chadsey allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks over seven innings.
Stinson Ott (1-1) took the loss for the Edmonton Prospects. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out six.
