The North Adams SteepleCats (10-6) beat the Mystic Schooners (2-12) 13-6 on Sunday at Joe Wolfe Field after a seven-run explosion in the seventh inning.

Sheehan Planas-Arteaga racked up three RBIs on three hits for the North Adams SteepleCats. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

The North Adams SteepleCats relied on Nick Narodowy to eat up innings en route to the win. Narodowy pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out three.

Andrew Santomauro went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Mystic Schooners. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jeff Stoddard was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
