Casey McCurdy went 2-2, sparking the Terre Haute Rex (34-20) to an 8-4 victory over the Danville Dans (15-39) on Tuesday at Bob Warn Field.

The Danville Dans couldn't get anything going as long as Josh Dove was on the mound. The Danville Dans managed just two hits off of Dove, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out five during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Tyler Fullerton was solid at the plate for the Danville Dans. Fullerton went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Mat Snider ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
