A magnificent effort by Matthew Tellor carried the Springfield Sliders (17-26) to a 9-6 win over the Dubois County Bombers (26-16) on Wednesday at Robin Roberts Field.

Tellor racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Springfield Sliders. He homered in the first and eighth innings.

Cody Repenning picked up the win for the Springfield Sliders. Repenning pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out two.

Cody Daily reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the seventh inning.

Ryan Billo couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Dubois County Bombers, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
