The Slippery Rock Sliders cough up lead, the Chillicothe Paints win 13-8

Story by Narrative Science.

Things looked bleak for the Chillicothe Paints (28-18) when they trailed by one run in the eighth inning, but the Chillicothe Paints recovered thanks to a key single in the eleventh inning from Kevin Zak to pull out a 13-8 win in 11 innings over the Slippery Rock Sliders (15-31) at Jack Critchfield Park.

With the score tied at seven, Zak came to the plate and singled, scoring Cody Gaertner.

Jared Kujawa did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Chillicothe Paints, reaching base four times. He doubled in the ninth inning and singled in the fourth and eleventh innings.
