Alexander Miklos clubbed two home runs to carry the Butler Blue Sox (16-11) to a 20-10 win over the Richmond RiverRats (15-12) at McBride Stadium.

Miklos racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Butler Blue Sox. He doubled in the third inning, singled in the fourth innings, and homered in the second and seventh innings.

The two teams combined for 30 runs and 41 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were eight pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

The Butler Blue Sox blew out the Richmond RiverRats thanks to 26 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Butler Blue Sox scored six runs in the third on an RBI single by Elliott Caldwell, an error, a single by Matt Albaugh, a hit by pitch, an RBI double by Miklos, , and a single by Jason Radwan.

Eric Dorsch shut down the Richmond RiverRats while he was on the mound. Dorsch gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Andrew Elliott got his second win for the Butler Blue Sox despite allowing five runs over five innings. Elliott struck out nine, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Patrick Van Daalwyk ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out one.

The Butler Blue Sox pounded the Richmond RiverRats pitching, as six hitters combined for 23 hits, 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
