The Terre Haute Rex staved off the Quincy Gems as the Quincy Gems were unable to match the Terre Haute Rex down the stretch.

The Quincy Gems scored on an RBI single by Gregory Allen, an RBI single by Allen, an RBI single by Allen, and a sacrifice fly by Nick Tindall in the fifth inning, a fielder's choice in the sixth inning, and an RBI single by Nick Day and an RBI single by Allen in the eighth inning. Nick Hibbing ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out seven.
