Kris Gardner held the Dubois County Bombers (17-6) scoreless for six innings to boost the Hannibal Cavemen (13-10) to a 9-1 victory.

Gardner struck out 10 and allowed one walk and six hits.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Hannibal Cavemen in the seventh. The Dubois County Bombers had no answer as the Hannibal Cavemen scored five runs.

Jonathan Golden racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Taylor Luna (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked six, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
