Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Tuesday as the Hannibal Cavemen (11-7) outscored the Quincy Gems (12-6) 10-8.
The teams totaled 20 hits in the game.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with seven lead changes.
Ryan Light got on base three times in the game for the Hannibal Cavemen. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He tripled in the first inning.
Even though Ryan Brasser allowed seven runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.
Ricky Sandquist was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
