The bats were busy at League Stadium on Friday, and when the dust cleared the Springfield Sliders (6-16) had an 11-8 win over the Dubois County Bombers (17-5).

The two teams combined for 25 hits in the game.

Matthew Stevens racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Springfield Sliders. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

TR Dunne had an impressive outing against the Dubois County Bombers' lineup. Dunne held the Dubois County Bombers hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Brendan Neel racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Dubois County Bombers. He homered in the seventh innings.

Cody Repenning got the win, running his season record to 1-3. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered three hits.

Ty Simpson (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.
