The Dubois County Bombers (16-4) and the Quincy Gems (12-8) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Dubois County Bombers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 9-5 win at League Stadium.

Frank Rawdow had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Gregory Allen racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Quincy Gems. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Alex Britt recorded his second win for the Dubois County Bombers even though he allowed five runs over 7 2/3 innings. He struck out eight, walked five and surrendered 10 hits.

Tyler House (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out two.

The Dubois County Bombers were sparked by Rawdow and Dalton Rouleau, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
