A walk-off solo blast from Evan Powell brought home the winning run for the Danville Dans (17-43) in an 8-7 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen at Danville Stadium on Friday.

Powell was solid at the plate for the Danville Dans. Powell went 1-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Tyler Fullerton racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Danville Dans. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the second inning.

Matt Frahm recorded his second win of the year for the Danville Dans. He allowed three runs over two-thirds of an inning. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Denys Delgado (0-1) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen (31-29). He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
