Kris Gardner held the Danville Dans (10-25) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Hannibal Cavemen (18-17) to a 5-0 victory.

Gardner struck out one and allowed one walk and five hits.

Ian Sikes racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Hannibal Cavemen. He homered in the seventh inning.

Andrew Alvarez was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Hannibal Cavemen batters and allowing three runs.
