The Chillicothe Paints (17-11) pounded the Lorain County Ironmen (7-21) on Friday 20-6 at VA Memorial Stadium.

The Chillicothe Paints scored seven runs in the fourth on a double by Aaron Hopper, , an RBI single by Matt Fisher, an RBI single by Nick Lombardi, a two-run single by Jared Kujawa, and an RBI double by Cody Gaertner.

Lombardi racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Chillicothe Paints.

Sam Alvis hit two home runs for the Lorain County Ironmen. Alvis went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Alvis homered in the second and sixth innings.

Will Nimke improved to 2-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Chillicothe Paints. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Spencer Bryant (0-2) took the loss for the Lorain County Ironmen. He allowed 11 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out none.

The Chillicothe Paints easily handled the Lorain County Ironmen pitching as eight hitters combined for 22 hits, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
