The Butler Blue Sox (22-13) trailed by eight in the sixth, but Elliott Caldwell was able to capture the lead back with a home run in the sixth, spurring the Butler Blue Sox to a 20-11 win over the Lorain County Ironmen (9-26) at Pullman Park on Saturday.

With the Butler Blue Sox trailing by three in the sixth inning, Caldwell came to the plate and hit a grand slam, bringing home Justin Brozick, Gavin Meyer and Brendan Costantino.

Caldwell racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Butler Blue Sox. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 31 total runs and 35 hits during the game. Both bullpens were busy with 11 pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

The Butler Blue Sox turned the win into a rout with 11 runs in the sixth.

Eric Dorsch got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. Dorsch struck out one, walked one and gave up three hits.

Dan Poskocil was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in one-third of an inning, walked none and struck out none.

The Butler Blue Sox pounded the Lorain County Ironmen pitching, as six hitters combined for 20 hits, 18 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
