The Butler Blue Sox (14-8) beat the Chillicothe Paints (13-9) 11-3 on Friday at Pullman Park after a six-run explosion in the fifth inning.
Kyle Petty racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Butler Blue Sox. He singled in the first and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.
The Butler Blue Sox got the win thanks in large part to Jared Locke's dominant, 10-strikeout performance. Locke allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk over seven innings.
Matt Fisher paced the Chillicothe Paints at the plate. Fisher went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, sixth, and eighth innings.
