The Bourne Braves blew out the Harwich Mariners (22-13) thanks to 11 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Bourne Braves scored four runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Joe Jackson, an RBI single by Mike Ahmed, an error, and a groundout by Colin Moran.
Jackson boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Bourne Braves.
Thompson recorded his second win of the year for the Bourne Braves. He struck out nine, walked two and surrendered no hits.
Corey Littrell (1-2) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
