The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (10-10) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Orleans Firebirds (14-6) roared back to steal a 4-3 victory at Red Wilson Field.

A sacrifice fly by Reed Gragnani gave the Orleans Firebirds the lead in the ninth inning.

Piikea Kitamura paced the Orleans Firebirds at the plate. Kitamura went 3-5 and scored two runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Dylan Clark brought the heat against the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox during his outing. The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox managed just three hits off of Clark, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Carlos Asuaje got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the first, third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Bryan Verbitsky was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
