Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Traverse City Beach Bums (39-22) outscored the Windy City ThunderBolts (35-25) 15-8.

The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.

The Traverse City Beach Bums blew out the Windy City ThunderBolts thanks to 17 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Traverse City Beach Bums scored five runs in the sixth on , a hit by pitch, a hit by pitch, a fielder's choice, a groundout by Kyle Eveland, a double by Brian Heere, and a single by Ryan Still.

Even though Scott Dunn allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Dustin Williams ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked two and struck out five.
