A seven-run seventh inning sealed a 10-1 win for the Joliet Slammers (17-19) over the Windy City ThunderBolts (20-14) on Monday at Standard Bank Stadium.

Jimmy Waters reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

The Joliet Slammers relied on Jim Schult to eat up innings en route to the win. Schult pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out three.

Tyson Corley (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
