Andres Caceres kept the River City Rascals (29-27) off the board during his five innings of work and the Florence Freedom (29-27) beat the River City Rascals, 7-0.

Caceres struck out two and allowed five walks and three hits.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Florence Freedom in the eighth. In the inning the Florence Freedom scored five runs.

The Florence Freedom were led by Jim Jacquot's hitting. Jacquot went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Kelii Zablan (4-3) took the loss for the River City Rascals. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
