The Rockford RiverHawks (11-20) built an early edge on Thursday, but the Normal CornBelters (12-18) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at The Corn Crib.
An RBI double by Tyler Wiesemeyer gave the Normal CornBelters the lead in the seventh inning.
It was a good day at the plate for the Normal CornBelters' Steven Felix. Felix went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Ryan Krumlauf picked up the win for the Normal CornBelters. Krumlauf allowed two earned runs, three hits and four walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.
Kyle Schepel (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed one run.
