Doug Thennis brought home the go-ahead run to give the Road Warriors (7-18) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Road Warriors hung on to beat the Lake Erie Crushers (48-37) 4-2 on Tuesday.
With the Road Warriors trailing by one, Thennis came to the plate and homered, bringing home Wesley Jones and Mike Schwartz.Thennis racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Road Warriors. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Shawn Marquardt picked up the win for the Road Warriors. Marquardt pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, three hits and one walk while striking out three.
Paul Fagan (7-7) took the loss for the Lake Erie Crushers. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
