The Traverse City Beach Bums (55-29) took the last of four lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the River City Rascals (40-44), securing a 6-2 victory on Sunday at Wuerfel Park.

The Traverse City Beach Bums took the lead in the seventh inning and held on for the victory. A groundout by Marcus Nidiffer scored Kyle Colligan and Sean Gusrang and gave the Traverse City Beach Bums the lead for good.

It was a good day at the plate for the Traverse City Beach Bums' Jeff Flagg. Flagg went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fourth inning.
