The Traverse City Beach Bums (10-6) and the Rockford RiverHawks (5-10) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Traverse City Beach Bums that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-4 win at Wuerfel Park.

The Traverse City Beach Bums held off the Rockford RiverHawks, as the Rockford RiverHawks were unable to overcome a four-run fourth inning deficit.

The Rockford RiverHawks scored on a two-run single by Matt Greener in the sixth inning and an RBI single by Elliot Hagburg in the eighth inning. Despite their efforts, the Rockford RiverHawks couldn't finish the comeback.

Sean Gusrang racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He homered in the third inning.

Brooks Belter improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered seven hits.
