The Southern Illinois Miners (55-39) beat the Lake Erie Crushers (53-42) 6-2 in seven innings on Sunday at Rent One Park, Marion, IL behind Jake Kaase, who went 1-3 and hit a home run.

Daniel Bowman reached base three times in the game for the Lake Erie Crushers. He singled in the first and fourth innings.
