The Windy City ThunderBolts (22-15) scored five runs in the ninth to cap a 15-6 win over the London Rippers (15-24) on Friday.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.

Chad Cregar racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He singled in the first and fourth innings, doubled in the sixth inning, and homered in the ninth inning.

Dustin Williams recorded his sixth win for the Windy City ThunderBolts even though he allowed six runs over 6 2/3 innings. Williams struck out three, walked one and gave up 12 hits.

Matt Schimpf ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Windy City ThunderBolts easily handled the London Rippers pitching as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 11 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
