Antone DeJesus drove in three runs, helping the Gateway Grizzlies (7-8) to a 6-3 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (9-6) on Friday at GCS Ballpark - Sauget, IL.

The Gateway Grizzlies relied on Alex Kaminsky to eat up innings en route to the win. Kaminsky pitched seven innings and allowed three earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out four.

Jose Vargas racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He homered in the seventh inning.

Jason Mattila looked sharp on the mound. Mattila held the Gateway Grizzlies hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Jacob Clem was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out four.
