The Lake Erie Crushers come from behind to beat the Florence Freedom, 8-7

The Lake Erie Crushers (33-27) trailed by five in the eighth, but Brandon Decker was able to capture the lead back with a solo blast in the twelfth, spurring the Lake Erie Crushers to an 8-7 win in 12 innings over the Florence Freedom (31-29) at Home of the Florence Freedom on Tuesday.

With the score tied at seven, Decker came to the plate and homered.

Andrew Davis led the Lake Erie Crushers' offensive threat, as he got on base five times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

Mickey |Jannis got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He pitched three shutout innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Jorge Marban (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed one run.
