The Evansville Otters (35-39) failed to take advantage of great day from Bryce Morrow on Wednesday, losing 4-2 to the Traverse City Beach Bums (47-27) at Bosse Field.

Morrow baffled the Traverse City Beach Bums, striking out eight batters. Morrow allowed one earned run, two hits and one walk over seven innings.

Matt Miller helped the Traverse City Beach Bums take the lead for good in the eighth inning. With the score tied at two, Miller came to the plate and doubled, scoring Ryan Still.

Chase Burch racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He singled in the eighth inning.

Reid Kelly handled the Evansville Otters' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Kelly allowed two earned runs on four hits and two walks over six innings.

Nick Capito recorded his fifth win of the year for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Patrick Crider ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
